Thank you!

I needed a quick card so tried something different.  This card took me all of about 15 minutes.  I used a standard packaged 5 x 5 white card base from Michaels $1 bin.  I have a stash of card shapes that I keep sorted in a basket in clear cases.  Then when I need a quick card I have lots of options at hand. The red triangle is a shape from Elegant Edges Cricut Cartridge, one of my very favorite cartridges.   Thank you is stamped in black Mementos ink and it is on a shape cut from a Spellbinders die called Grommet Tags.  The roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts,  they have some of the most beautiful hand made flowers.  I made the stick pin. and added a few Recollection white pearls as accents.   Not bad for a quick card using card and ribbon from my stash, I am not totally happy with it but will have to work on quicks card some more.  My preference is to use an image and hand color with Copics but I just did not have the time.

Here is the inside of the card.  I plan on putting a personal hand written note on the right side.  Just added some poka dot paper in a matching color on the left from my stash since the bow on the front has the same design.   The butterfly is a Martha Stewart embellishment.

Love to hear what you think if you have the time to leave a comment.  Thanks so much for stopping by.

  2. Very pretty. I recognized that background, but wasn't sure how to use it. I really like how you angled yours. It looks fabulous. Thanks for stopping by.
